Choose the right day for you

This is an optional travel idea, not part of a treatment or an organised tour. If you are travelling for surgery, explore before your procedure only if you feel well enough; after surgery, follow your treating team's advice. NHS advises against sightseeing immediately after cosmetic surgery.

Morning: the historic peninsula

Begin around Sultanahmet Square, where the Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosque face the surrounding historic area. You can enjoy the architecture from outside or, if appropriate for your plans, investigate the visitor conditions for entering. Check official opening hours, access rules and any admission fees before visiting.

Pause in Gülhane

Consider a break in Gülhane Park and leave time for food, rest and getting between stops. Distances, uneven surfaces, crowds and weather can affect how comfortable the route feels. Shorten or skip any part according to your needs.

Afternoon: the water, if time allows

If your schedule and mobility allow, consider a ferry journey or a view of the Bosphorus. Check Şehir Hatları for current routes and departures, which can change. Allow time for transport back and do not make a non-refundable plan around an unconfirmed medical schedule.

A local professional guide is an independent choice; confirm qualifications, accessibility, price and cancellation terms directly. Panorama does not offer or arrange tours.
